Ivashkin: "MEPHISTO or MEPHISTOO is my band. I formed it when I was 18 in my hometown of Radomir... It was my first and main way of expressing myself musically alongside my friends Marian Yozoz and Iliana Kirova, who played the guitar and piano respectively… It started as an incredibly enthusiastic school band with no chance of getting decent instruments, but inspired by our personal acquaintance with Dimitar Voev – a cult conceptualist, poet and driving force behind the band Nova Generatsiya. These events shaped my entire life and what flowed from my heart all the time.
