A song by Niki Angelov and Petar Kanev from the autumn of 1992 – the final track on what we called our album *The Foam of the Days*... Our duo was called PENA, from Pesho Kanev and Niki Angelov. Then, in 1994, that very same Niki played bass in the school band of Tsetso, who is now with the Animationists – Ikstlan. And they did this song of ours in a new dark wave arrangement. And this here is the original from 1992. Niki sings and plays bass and synth – on guitar is a lad called Mitko, whose surname I can’t remember. I keep the rhythm on the keyboard and sing the recitative parts. The music is by Niki, the lyrics are mine – but in fact we wrote the song and the arrangement together – both the music and the lyrics changed to fit each other – as we went along. We mixed the tracks using some ancient mono mixing desk. The synthesiser was the old one from the band Klasa – I think it belonged to Momchil – Niki borrowed it specially from them (a Kawai K1, that is). We recorded the song on an audio cassette as a special birthday present for Lyubomira Parizhkova – a very good friend. The photo is from the autumn of 1992, on Budapest Street in Sofia.
