Ventsislav Mitsov is a Bulgarian pianist, composer and public figure, established as one of the most recognisable artists on the country’s alternative and rock scene. He gained his greatest popularity as the keyboardist for Hipodil, where he contributed to the band’s distinctive sound in the 1990s. In 1996, he formed the band Kvershtandt, with whom he recorded three tracks at CITY Studio that very same year. As well as being a rock musician, he has a solid classical background and participates in symphonic projects, as well as in the creation of film, television and advertising music. Mitsov is distinguished by a style that combines punk energy, irony and social criticism, often reflecting countercultural ideas. Alongside his musical activities, he teaches and researches the history of pop and rock music, establishing himself as a theorist and analyst. Contact The Man with the Ionic: chorus@abv.bg
