"Vas" is a relatively new project by Giuliano Vasilev and Alexander Metodiev featuring post-punk and darkwave elements. The guitar and vocals are enriched by a distinctive bass line, whilst the synths round off the sound, lending it a dark edge. The lyrics cover themes such as human alienation from the world and from oneself, and the repetitiveness of everything in this era, from which nothing truly ‘new’ seems to emerge. They currently have a 10-track demo album called "Novo". You can listen to it on dwr.radio. In 2023, they supported She Past Away in Bulgaria. Regarding the lead track from their upcoming 2025 album: "The first song from the upcoming new album by the band VAS. The tempo of the music is characteristic of the post-punk genre, blending with darkwave synths to form a dark and fast-paced composition. A video for the song is due to be released." The band is currently active. Contact: https://on.soundcloud.com/3eLTu
