Here is what falshimento wrote on Bandcamp about Strugare: "With its spoken-word nature, this long-awaited debut by the enigmatic STUGARE is raw and eccentric, making it the first of its kind in Bulgaria. At around 25 years of age, Troyan Ivanov’s lyrical flow is nothing short of deeply contemplative and precociously mature, with metaphors fuelled by enjambement, which pour like a river over meticulously crafted, unconventional beats — the work of an even more mystical genius: Pistamashina. This track is one of those that will go down in history (and be played over and over again)! Favourite track: FOYERVERK." And an addendum from dwr.radio: We’re inclined to agree — Strugare has a very special vibe; even though we don’t usually listen to this sort of music, there’s something much more to this lad than meets the eye. I remember when I first heard him, I thought, ‘Blimey, what’s this…’ but it takes a bit of getting to grips with. Recently, Naso Tuskov wrote in a post that Strugare hasn’t been active since 2020… We’ll look into what’s going on with him – hopefully everything’s going well for him and he’s doing fine. And why not some new stuff too. All the tracks have videos, which are also top-notch, directed by the artist himself. You know where to look... And as I write this and look over the text, I’m already getting a sense of déjà vu... Support him here and contact: strugare.bandcamp.com
