The musical project SBOGOM is an independent solo initiative by Sofia-based multi-instrumentalist Maxim Stoimenov, launched in late 2024. The artist, known for his work with iconic Bulgarian underground bands such as BROND, Voyvoda and Mental Architects, describes his style as “an act of parting through noisy guitar music”. All tracks are recorded independently in his own studio, North Attic Sounds, on a DIY basis. The project combines atmospheric post-rock and experimental noise with profound social and universal messages. Among his early releases, the single “Surveillance City” and the socially conscious track “Suffer Me”, inspired by Palestinian poetry, stand out.
