Saturated Pixels (Lyubomir Brashnenkov and Angel Dodov) are exploring new musical territories. Weaving together various musical styles and trends, their albums create their own unique language of deep, melodic soundscapes. It is almost impossible to confine the band’s style to a single genre, as the musicians seek to expand their musical boundaries. On ‘Photons’, the multi-instrumental duo Saturated Pixels demonstrate not just growth, but explosive growth. Drawing on elements from a vast array of genres, including ambient, experimental, wave, post-punk and psychedelic music, they have forged their own vibrant and organic blend. Extracting only the essence necessary for their creative existence, Saturated Pixels have invented a whole new world in their garden of life. A world driven by overlapping minimalist melodies, eclectic drum beats, shifting synthetic pads, plus guitar and bass textures that lend a rawer atmosphere to the EP’s overall electronic sound.
