Revival were formed in 2011 in Sofia by schoolmates Rumen Pavlov (vocals and guitars; Enthrallment) and Asen Stanchev (guitars; ex-Rejection), Bozhidar Davidkov (drums; ex-Coprostasis, ex-Here And Now), and Alexander Mladenov - Leafy (Triple Treat, ex-Slix). Revival released their first record – the EP Fire It Up!, which was recorded live in 2013 at SubZero Studio. Meanwhile, Asen left the band and was replaced by Nikola Ognyanov (Vokyl, Enthrallment, ex-Savage Ravage). Revival decided to record their debut full-length album at Studio42 in Plovdiv. Recording began in August 2015. After many twists and turns and for various reasons, the self-titled debut album was not released until the summer of 2023 – digitally and on audio cassette.
