RESEMBLANCE were formed in 1992 in Varna by Dimo Stoyanov and Ivan Velkov. The band was influenced by the rising popularity of the Seattle grunge scene. They have written more than 40 songs with lyrics in English. In 1994, they came third at the ‘Rock Hit’ festival in their home town. The band’s concerts are mainly held at the ‘Orbita’ hall. In 1997, for a period of about a month, the band travelled to Hungary, where they played two gigs, one as the support act for the local band Fresh Fabric. In the late 90s, RESEMLANCE decided to move to Sofia and changed their name to P.I.F... In the spring of 2021, the album "Backstage Dreamer" was released, featuring seven tracks recorded live in the mid-1990s. The album was released in memory of the band’s late founder, Dimo Stoyanov. info: bg-rock-archives.com
