PunkBlues is a Bulgarian band from the early 1990s. As the name suggests, their style is firmly rooted in punk and blues. Over the years, the band has remained true to underground culture and music as a means of expressing a human and social stance, always with an eye on the lighter side of life – formed in August 1995. They wrote 11 songs at their very first rehearsal. Their stage debut was at the ‘Rock-Predel ’95’ festival. In 1997, PunkyBlues made their debut on the Sofia stage (at the ‘Macedonia’ Hall). That same year, they also took part in ‘Blues Fest’ in Burgas. In the summer of 1999, they made their first professional recordings at the "Graffiti" studio – the album "Demo". Over the years, the band’s line-up has included members such as Kalin Mishkov, Vladimir Daov, Temenuga Mishkova, Pats, Zdraveza, Stamen, Grunzo, but the current line-up is: Mitashki – Dimitar Gutsev – vocals (1995–present), Tsveti Mishkova – vocals (1995–present), Etsata – Encho Kerezov – guitar (1997–present), Grigor Mishkov – bass (1995–present), Bogomil Slanchev – drums (2020–present).
