Mufta are from Sozopol and play Ska/Punk Rock – active since 2009. The band was formed in the summer of 2009 in Sozopol. In the band’s first year, Dimitar Ivanov (guitar, vocals) and Danail Kolev (percussion) wrote and promoted the first songs. In early 2011, they were joined by Martin Kondov and Vladi Mihaylov. MUFTA’s musical style is Ska-Punk with elements of reggae and funk. The band has performed extensively in clubs across the capital, as well as at events outside Sofia. After 2016, the band’s activity subsided, but in the first half of 2019 they announced their debut album – *The Whole*. The occasion was the band’s 10th anniversary. The album was presented at a promotional concert at Maymunarnika, followed by a mini-tour of several cities across the country. In early summer 2022, the band’s second album, ‘Up’, was released.
