Mental is a five-piece band from Varna who strive to make music that defies labels and isn’t too extreme. They mainly play metal, but also draw on other genres such as grunge, alt-rock, nu-metal, metalcore and rock. The band was formed in the winter of 2023. Since then, they have been playing covers of well-known metal/rock bands and creating original music, having recently experimented more in an alternative direction. They have one official single (which you are listening to right now) and will soon be releasing a second. Mental’s current line-up is: Nikolay Iliev – lead guitar and vocals; Ivan Zoykov – drums; Emil Naydenov – lead guitar; Kristian Ignatov – rhythm guitar; Enis Buchakliev – bass and vocals :).
