"The Fox and the Cats" is a musical project that operates on the principle of the troubadours! Three distinct voices, in different musical styles, recount the stories and adventures of literary characters from great novels such as Bulgakov’s "The Master and Margarita", Homer’s "The Odyssey", F. Scott Fitzgerald’s "The Great Gatsby", Stephen King’s "Rage", and Orwell’s "1984". The songs are original compositions by Militsa Gladnishka, Nikolay Vodenicharov – Niketsa, and Ivan Velchev. Some of the songs were written specifically for Veselka Kuncheva’s theatre productions. You will also hear songs from the musical “Melophobia” — based on an idea by Militsa Gladnishka and Ivan Velchev, in which the two compose all the music, songs and arrangements in partnership with Nikolay Vodenicharov – Niketsa and the magnificent guitarist Miroslav Ivanov. The concert also features hit songs from the jazz era, each with a story worthy of a novel. Niketsa showcases the power of rock in his original songs, every one of which is impressive!
