Kebapcheta i Rozi are from Sofia. Active period: 1999–2002. KEBAPCHETA I ROZI were formed in 1999 by musicians who had played at various times in BEZNADEZHNOOST. Final line-up: Toma Vasharov – vocals (1999–2002), ex-Beznadezhnost, ex-Baba Yaga (Sofia); Vadim Arbuzov – guitar, vocals (1999–2002), ex-Beznadezhnost, ex-Russian Syndrome, ex-Kaka Syara, ex-V vidu obstanok (Russia), Monastyr (Russia); Marin Mechev – clarinet, percussion (1999–2002), formerly of Beznaezhdnost, Kozza Mostra, formerly of Russki Sindrom, Marinski; Georgi Ramadanov – bass, vocals (1999–2002); Yavor Cohen – keyboards (????–2002), formerly of Kozza Mostra; Kaloyan Ramadanov – drums, vocals (1999–2002). It is difficult to place them within any particular stylistic framework – punk/ska with various admixtures and influences, as clarinets and tarambuki are used alongside the usual instruments. Most of the songs were written by Toma Vasharov and Kaloyan Ramadanov, whilst the arrangements were done by the whole band. In 2001, they recorded at M&D Studio (sound engineer Dimitar Dimitrov) and Graffiti Studio (sound engineer Ogi Kiosovski). The band has performed dozens of times across the country, released two demo albums and had individual tracks featured on compilations.
