Jeth was sent to me by Sad but True, whom I hadn’t spoken to or written to in quite some time. Around the radio, agents like this have been stepping up to help me find all sorts of interesting things… whenever they feel like it and have the time… for which I thank them. Update: Someone from the band got in touch and sent us a couple of lines... The band Jeth formed after the break-up of Lazy Leech, with some of the musicians moving on to the new project and others to the band Isihia. Initially, their style was influenced by grunge, but over time it evolved to incorporate elements of pop, ska and reggae. The band existed until 2003, when they ceased their activities. The final line-up from the 2002–2003 period included Asya Andonova (later part of Paradox To Blame), Nikolay Rangelov on guitar, Minko Todorov on bass, Boyko Ivanov on drums and Maxim Erebakan on keyboards. Some of the musicians were also involved in other projects such as Mental Architects, Horizon, The Headstall, Q-Check and Sepuko 6. Jeth remains an interesting example of genre development on the Bulgarian alternative scene from the early 2000s. Info: Maxim Erebakan.
