Since 2014, the exceptionally prolific Bulgarian producer Evitceles has built up an impressive discography spanning a wide range of electronic genres and released by labels across the globe. Following the melancholic ‘Naive Slumber’ (2021), he returns to Amek with his new full-length album ‘Accession’, marking his first solo release on vinyl. The album offers a captivating and emotional journey with a sombre atmosphere, often broken up by lighter ambient moments and melancholic synths. His intuitive approach to sampling, field recordings and vocal layers lends the sound a raw, organic quality and a sense of human intimacy. “Accession” brings together everything characteristic of Evitceles’ “underwater” sound, whilst hinting at new directions in the project’s development.
