A joint track by Nova Generatsiya (the third and final line-up without Zhorka) and Kresh, recorded at Ton Studio 2, Sofia, by Todor Lechev and Bobby Borisov, based on an idea by Ognyan Angelov (O.A.). Comment by Boris Krumov: “I first heard it on the radio, on one of those rock programmes at the end of the last century. The story was that the metalheads had heard that passage from ‘Patriotic Song’ and wanted, were determined to prove to Mitko Voev that it wasn’t right to play them alongside the Serbian track. That’s how this joint project came about.” This, however, turns out to be an urban legend, though one close to the truth. Here is what Ognyan Angelov (O.A., at the time manager of Kresh) recounts: “The idea for the joint track was born on the bus from Sunny Beach to Varna after the "Rock for Survival", where I was trying to persuade Voev and Neli to make this recording as a sort of act of reconciliation between the metalheads and the wavers, who at the time were engaged in a peculiar war over joint concerts :) Interestingly, the lyrics for this track aren’t by Voev, but by Kresh’s bassist, Borislav Prodanov, and our guitarist Zdravko Minev refused to take part in the recording; however, after the session, he was waiting for us outside the BNT - he’d had a change of heart and no longer had any objections..."
