BEZNADEZHNOST was formed in 1990 by Deyan Dimov and Kaloyan Ramadanov. They began rehearsing in a small attic at 92 Pirotska Street – an address that became an integral part of the underground scene of the time. Since its inception in 1992, Beznaezhdnost has made dozens of studio recordings and performed at concerts in Sofia and across the country. Initially a project of the two founders, other musicians were later recruited to the band. Their first public concert took place in April 1993 at the Academy of Arts. After the concert, the two guitarists left, and once replacements had been found, the band recorded their first demo. After a 19-year hiatus, Kaloyan revived BEZNADEZHDNOST as a solo project and released his debut album, ‘Next Season’, at the end of 2019. In the spring of the following year, the project recorded a new album – "6 Days Before the Lockdown", which was released on YouTube. The songs are the result of a collaboration between composer Kaloyan Ramadanov-Koki and lyricist Dian Dimov. This single was released in January 2024 and is one of BEZNAZHEDNOST’s two latest releases. The band is currently active. Contact: 6poxipol@gmail.com
