Band of Mad Women were formed in 1997. That same year, they recorded their first album at Four Seasons Studio and released it in 1999 on the Wizard label. Their second album was recorded in 1999 and released in 2000, again on the Wizard label. In 2000, one of the band’s founding members, Viktor Marinov, left the group, marking the start of their second phase. The band joined the Yello Music label and began work on their third album. After the label ceased to exist a year before 2001, Band of Mad Women also suspended their activities.
