Angine de Poitrine, live at Esma, Rennes, France – I’m taking the liberty of playing this on our radio because these two girls (in my opinion) blew my mind with incredible force – a killer concept, brutal and precise playing and highly focused thought, all rolled into one. The musical forms explode in your head and just when you think you’ve heard all the surprises, the most unexpected thing comes along. If I get the chance, I’ll bring them to Bulgaria – fingers crossed! It’s been a long time since anyone has impressed me on such a scale – to the point where it’s inspiring!
