Addiction is a post-punk band formed in January 2025 in Stara Zagora. The band draws inspiration from the sounds of Nova Generatsiya, Revyu, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cure and Klas, developing their own style within the dark alternative scene. Their music is recorded independently in a home studio, with a focus on raw sound and a live instrumental presence. The lyrics range from themes of dark romance to socially engaged messages, such as the song ‘Uncle’, which addresses paedophilia, and ‘The Girl from the Books’, which tells of the isolation and inner world of a young girl. ADDICTION’s aesthetic and overall sound fit within the spirit of contemporary alternative and post-punk culture. Contact: addiction_band@abv.bg
